What I didn't blog about 2015

2015, just like every other year, has been a wild rollercoaster for me. But when I look back at the things I've done and the places I've been to, I feel like this year was seriously going to be one for the books. Unfortunately, many of the things I've been up to this year I have failed to blog, which is why I have made up this mini compilation. So, before we close this wonderful 2015, I would like to share with you the things I've been blessed with for this year.

January: Debut

I literally started off this year by turning 18, and for my debut, I didn't want it to be formal and strict up to a point where even I would get bored, so I asked the host to help me make a program that would be entertaining not just for me, but my guests as well. The picture above with me and my ninong just shows how things went down (pun may have been intended) that night.

May: Punta Fuego

This is was my first taste of heaven after surviving my first year in college with my family. We spent a good 3 days just sinking in the beach, basking under the sun, and just taking some time off away from the city.

June: Coron, Palawan

The rest of my summer after Fuego mostly consisted my friends and I preparing for this trip. We were pretty pumped because last summer we went to Hong Kong together, but this year, since my best friend was going back to New York it was only right that we had to stop by the beach before our summers ended. Anyways, Coron was BEAUTIFUL, the water was clear, the trees were everywhere, the sunsets were different every day and every single one of them were breathtaking. We went snorkeling, kayaking, trekked, fed giraffes, and so much more. I couldn't have asked for a better way to end my summer.

July: Big Bang MADE in Manila

I saw my all time favourite K-pop group live, I don't care if I was only in General Admission, the show was SENSATIONAL. I've been to other K-pop concerts before (and the tickets I got were mostly VIP) but Big Bang just threw all of those experiences out of the window. The concert was beautifully planned out, we sang to all their songs both old and new and I'm sure everyone stepped outside of MOA Arena trying to fathom what just happened for the past 2 and a half hours. Maybe its just different when you see the group you love the most perform live. Oh, and this was also my first concert with Celina (also known as Celina the Unicorn) together. We've always gone to the same concerts but never together (if that makes sense), and I have no regrets at all because we're both huge fans of the group and I had a great time dancing, jumping with her and watching her having an asthma attack during GD's solo.

October: New York

If I were to choose, New York would be one of the biggest blessings of this year. My dad was supposed to go there alone to pick-up my grandfather but coincidently, the days my dad would be spending there intersected with my semestral break, so long story short, I spent 2 weeks of my sembreak in the big apple. It was finally nice to go back to New York after 8 long years, but this time its more special because I got to visit my best friend and kept her company for a few days. Both of us couldn't believe it ourselves even while we were already having dinner face to face in Manhattan. I was lucky I got to see how Autumn looks like, and it was beautiful, shades of red, orange, and yellow were everywhere. Other things I did there: Central Park skating w/ my best friend, Times Square, American Museum of Natural History, 9/11, pumpkin picking, Shake Shack, Chipotle, and Halal <3

December: Christmas

Ah yes, the most wonderful time of the year.... Why Christmas you ask? Simple, its because of the picture below this paragraph.

Kidding (1/2). I love Christmas because its the best time for everyone to just be together, share some laughs, good food and great company. This is also the first year I've given my brother and parents a legit gift so I am proud of myself for that.

May it be playing Uno, belting out on the karaoke, or just gobbling up yummy yummy lechon, I can always depend on my family to make me smile and laugh at the end of the day.

Looking back, I think the memories I have wouldn't be as precious as it is to me right now without the people I spent it with. The relationships we have with others can shape us into becoming a better (and happier) person. That is why I would like to thank 2015 for making me aware of how important the people around me are and hopefully by 2016 I get to make more memories and share more laughter with them.

To everyone who made my 2015 (both good and bad), thank you very very very much.

How about you? What made your 2015? I would love to know in the comments down below!

For the last time this 2015...
Cherrio!
